BAESG WILL ALSO BE PRESENTING A SCHOLARSHIP TO A LOCAL STUDENT STUDYING IN A SAFETY OR ENVIRONMENTAL RELATED CURRICULUM.

This meeting will feature Duane Caldwell- Principal EHS Manager, Design & Construction Services at Genentech in South San Francisco, who will provide an update on Genentech's Best and Latest Practices for managing Contractors onsite.

With 785,000 square feet of lab space, distributed between some 45 plus buildings, which contain some 13,300 employees, and hundreds of contractors on any given day. Managing the contractors is quite a challenge.

WHAT YOU WILL LEAN:

Mr. Caldwell will outline and describe the mechanisms that Genentech has developed to manage this large population. Standards for work in hot environments.

The OperationalMechanisms and Systems developed and established by Genentech are applicable to all industrial campuses, large to small.

This meeting will take place at Mariani's Inn & Restaurant. Lunch will feature an Italian buffet with Ceasar Salad, Fresh Dinner Rolls, and Antipasto Tray to start. Entrees will include Cheese Tortellini and Chicken Marsala, with Basmati Rice, Rosemary Foccacia Bread, and mixed Vegetables. Freshly brewed coffee (decaf also) and iced tea will be served.



Please note that we cancelled the 2016 PDC, but hope to host one again in October of 2017. We are actively seeking volunteers to join the PDC Planning Committee.
