Fire Safety and Your Liability

Presented by: Alan Chelman, Coast Fire Equipment, Livermore, CA;

Mr. Chelman will provide an overview of Fire Equipment, Maintenance as well as your Liability. Alan will also provide an update on California and Fed Fire Codes as well as review a. relatively new topic regarding Clean Guard Fire Extinguishers and their effects on the Ozone.

Alan Chelman is the founder of Coast Fire Equipment Inc. in Livermore, California. Coast Fire Equipment has been in business for 20 years and has expanded to over 10 employees. Mr. Chelman serviced his first fire extinguisher when he was 4 years old. As a professional company with an excellent reputation for servicing, as well as selling, fire equipment in Northern California, Coast Fire Equipment is also one of the few fire equipment companies that recycle and hydro test fire extinguishers. Mr. Chelman holds a number of certifications some of which include NFPA Member, DOT Certification, Certified Foam Specialist and Fire Demo Instructor.
